  Earth Day is coming and we are in love with the rainforest! "Ayahuasca Jaguar Vision" our new necklace made of tagua Jaguar Wounaan pendant and necklace of tagua shaped like vertebrae bones, and tagua leaves. With a crown of tagua swirling ivory bead in leather cord.
  
  Everything even the toggle clasp is made of Amazonian forest tagua nuts. This magical piece by Allie brings the jungle to your urban outfits.

  The pendant is big and made an statement, it is 3 inches wide and 2 inches tall. Let met tell me about this artistic piece, the pendant is made by Embera indians located in Panama rainforests.
  
  The necklace is made by me, Allie Thornton, ecojewelry designing and crafting my jewels since 2010
  
  The Wounaan and Embera Indian Artisans carve the tagua nut with hand tools and polish the tagua with a variety of fine abrasives; not varnishes or lacquer is used. The natural color of the tagua is ivory, but the colors you see in the tiger design are produced by dyeing the tagua with natural extracts of plants and earth, using the traditional methods for dyeing basket fibers.
  
  Artists that have acccess to fine India inks sometimes paint the carving. Income earned form the sales of tagua crafts reduces the needs to destroy the rainforest for agriculture.
  
  Basically conservation of the rainforest is why I have been in the business of tagua jewelry creation and designing since 2010! Enjoy this creation that speaks about my love for the rainforest and my mission to preserve rainforest with eco jewelry, one design at a time.
