This necklace floral idea in Tagua nuts shaped like the Bird of Paradise , came to me, exactly this year 2016, after showing my jewels in many Hawaiian, Pacific islander, and Tahitian festivals. I never have been in Hawaii, but these festivals , transport you to another place and culture, with the music, outfits, dances and people, authentic islanders who adopted Allie and my Organic jewelry as a part of their own family.
The necklace is asymmetrical , made with petals or tagua slices twisted to one side as leaves, and wants to reflect the Hawaiian flora and particularly the bird of paradise. The first design was worn by Miss Tiki Oasis 2016 in one of her formal events in San Diego, CA.
